Posted by Michael Mosbacher
Prof. Anthony Glees has been undertaking a nine-months study of extremism on British campuses for the Social Affairs Unit. The study - Security Culture in the UK Today: How Safe are British Universities - will be published in the autumn. Although the study is still ongoing, it has today received extensive coverage in The Guardian, both in the lead front page story - Foreign scientists barred amid terror fears - and in greater detail inside the paper -They don't sit with a sign recruiting for terrorists.
Update 15th September: This study is now called When Students Turn to Terror: Terrorist and Extremist Activity on British Campuses and will be published on Monday 26th September 2005.
